Superhigh Viscosity Petroleum Grade Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose CMC Factory Insights

Superhigh viscosity petroleum grade CMC is a core functional material in the field of oil extraction. It is mainly used in drilling fluid thickening and filtration reduction, cementing fluid stability control and tertiary oil recovery displacement agent. Its core performance requirements include:

Viscosity index: 1% aqueous solution viscosity is usually ≥10,000 mPa・s (some high-end products can reach 20,000 mPa・s or more) to meet the mud rheology requirements in deep wells, ultra-deep wells or complex geological conditions.

Heat and salt resistance: It can withstand high temperatures above 150℃ and saturated brine slurry environments to prevent performance failure caused by salt precipitation and thermal degradation.

Filtration control: The filtration loss in deionized water, 4% brine and saturated brine must be ≤10 mL to form a thin and tough well wall filter cake and reduce the risk of well wall collapse.
